In addition to his role at Cherry, Ilari is an active investor and board member. He also supports businesses in operational roles, leveraging his extensive industry expertise. Ilari was recognized as CTO of the Year in Finland in 2016 for his contributions to technology and innovation.
Ilari brings Cherry’s clients a wealth of international industrial experience, particularly in the energy and maritime sectors. He specializes in building new capabilities, driving change, and implementing best practices in a practical, agile, and business-driven way.
Petri has a long experience in senior management positions in the food industry in Finland, Russia, Sweden and the Baltic countries, and he is also familiar with the grocery trade in these countries. Petri has been involved in significant strategy and business development, operational implementation and M&A projects.
Petri worked at Fazer for 14 years, including in the Group’s management team. For the last two years he was responsible for a major reorganisation of the group in Sweden. Before joining Fazer, Petri was responsible for corporate clients in the management team of Helsingin Sanomat and was involved in the launch of Stepstone’s internet recruitment business in Finland.
In addition to his strong strategic skills and analytical approach, Petri is an innovative people leader with the ability to drive organisations to implement strategies. His excellent negotiation skills enable him to lead strategic partnerships.
Samppa has a wide experience of promoting business and change with diverse communications. Prior to founding Cherry, he has led corporate communications and investor relations in global public companies such as Amer Sports, Comptel, Pöyry and Sonera.
Samppa has also planned and executed numerous strategic projects as communications consultant for growth companies and SMEs. He has own insight of Cherry’s services, having worked as Communications Leader for Amer Sports and Snellman Group on assignment contracts.
Samppa brings added value to both the strategic planning and operational exellence of communications. He is specialised in various types of corporate and financial communications, as well as reputation management and crisis communications. He has successfully led teams and built productive dialogue with the global investor community, media and other key stakeholders of a company.
As a business leader, Harri has extensive international experience in the technology, process and B2B services industries. He has successfully implemented business strategy changes, restructurings, M&A projects and performance improvement programmes.
Harri has worked in CEO/P&L roles in Transval and Posti Groups and has been responsible for supply chain and procurement, solution sales and project business in Swisslog, Kemira GrowHow (Yara) and CPS Color Groups.
Harri has the ability to create value by streamlining business processes and opening up new business models. Engaging stakeholders, building strategic partnerships and a network approach are Harri’s strengths. He has extensive experience in leading change, inspiring people and harnessing the full potential of companies to achieve their goals.

Vidi has a wide range of experience in HR leadership and strategic change management as well as international business having worked for more than 25 years in senior positions in large matrix organisations (e.g. Head of HR, Nokia Mobile Phones and EVP, HR, Fazer Group). He is currently the HR Director of Pihlajalinna.
